Super Bowl XLIV: The Colts Are Gonna Beat Them Saints

Charlie Klein

Bearing in mind that the game will be kicking off within the hour and that I have some friends coming over soon, I'll make this quite quick. The Colts will be the victors in tonight's match-up based on experience and Peyton Manning. While I will be rooting for Who Dat Nation I just think a Peyton Manning with two weeks to dissect a defense is just going to be too much for the Saints. The Saints will have to play zone defense to try and cover the Colts wideouts and there are few in the game better equipped to beat zone coverage than Peyton Manning. The only way I can see the Saints winning this matchup is if they are able to run the ball effectively and keep Peyton off the field. And yet as their last time in Miami proves, the Colts do not need to have the ball most of the game in order to win it.

Winner: Indianapolis Colts 31-24.
