Streaks: The good and the bad

  • The Padres take on their 10th straight victory to go over .500 - but are still 7.5 games behind the Dodgers in the NL West
  • The Blue Jays have dropped their 7th straight game to fall from first to third in the AL East in two days
  • The Chicago Cubs drop their 8th straight game to the lowly Pirates. The Pirates collected 18 hits total
  • The Detroit Tigers have have gone 8-2 of their last 10 games
  • The Washington Nationals, with a 13-31 record, have gone 2-8 of their last 10 games

  • Justin has allowed 4 runs in his last 5 starts

Tampa Bay Meltdown


  • The Rays led the Indians 10-0 in the fourth. By the 8th it was 10-4. Finally, in the bottom of the 9th the Indians would rally an amazing 7 run explosion to stun the Rays and take the game 11-10.
